Hello, My name is Amber and I started working in travel in 2003 after studying Travel and Tourism. I also studied at the Travel Academy in Bloomington, MN.
I’ve traveled to many destinations in the US, Caribbean Islands, and Hawaii. But most of all, I enjoy traveling to Mexico, with great beaches, wonderful culture, and friendly people.
As a travel consultant my goal is to help others discover the joys of travel, experience new cultures, and visit the places of their dreams. My favorite part of being a travel consultant is touching base with a client upon their return and hearing the stories of their travels. I learn just as much from those conversations as I do while researching a destination. I really appreciate the feedback I get from clients, it not only helps me learn but it also helps me when helping those clients plan their next trip. I’m so lucky to have great clients who appreciate my advice and who come back to work with me year after year.
I really love what I do and I know this is my career. I look forward to continuing to work, learn, and grow in this every changing industry.
I am a Karisma GI Specialist, a Sandals Certified Agent, a Disney Authorized Seller, and specialize in many other destinations. My main focus is on Destination weddings, honeymoons, and family vacation travel to the beaches of Florida, the Caribbean and Mexico. I am currently working on the Travel Leaders Travel Specialist program and am very interested in becoming a Costa Rica specialist.
Keeping up-to-date on the happenings in the travel industry is as important as travel itself. Continually going to seminars and training while specializing in specific travel destinations and types of travel is an important part of being a professional travel consultant. Amber specializes in the following areas of travel:
Destination Weddings & Honeymoons
Royal Caribbean Cruises
