Hello, my name is Cindy Lea Sanborn and I joined Market Square Travel in October 2001 when I moved to Minnesota from Vermont. I have been a Travel Consultant for over 20 years. I graduated from the New England School of Travel and hold Certification from the Institute of Certified Travel Agents (ICTA) in Travel Career Development. My goal as a travel consultant is to help you have a unique and enjoyable travel experiences creating memories for a lifetime and the joy of experiencing the world and all of it’s wonders.

My favorite places to travel are Africa and Europe, with a dream of living in one of them in the future. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada and the United States, and most recently returned from a 10-day trip to the Philippines. I have also cruised in Europe, the Caribbean and Alaska.

Specialization
Keeping up-to-date on the happenings in the travel industry is as important as travel itself. Continually going to seminars and training while specializing in specific travel destinations and types of travel is an important part of being a professional travel consultant.

I have earned the title of Master Specialist for both Kenya and Portugal, and have been certified by the Agency Coalition for Caribbean Tourism as a Caribbean Specialist. In addition to these, I am certified in many other countries and destinations, with emphasis on Europe and China and most recently I've completed the Philippines Specialist program.

More than anything I love to sell travel to Africa, Europe, and Asia. Finding the off-the-beat-and-path things to see and do as well as unique places to stay is my specialty. Whether it's a guided tour or a completely independent adventure, I would love to help you plan a vacation!
